Jeff Bodner has made a career being an R.C.M.P. officer.  Jeff celebrated his twentieth year with the R.C.M.P. on April 2002.  Singing for Jeff started from an early age.  Jeff had great fortune to have a mother who was very gifted musically and encouraged him to follow his voice.  At the ripe old age of five he was stage at his first talent show, by six he was on television with his grade one class and sang solo.  Jeff has now been singing for thirty six years and has always had a love of old fifties Rock'n'Roll.  Elvis' music was often played while Jeff was growing up and he grew to appreciate it.

Jeff competed in several talent shows as a youth and added a few wins to his trophy cabinet.  In January of 1987 Jeff was asked by a figure skating club to provide 50's music for a Ladies' Night Out to raise funds for the club.  He found some soundtracks on cassette tape and spent two months learning songs.  He has been emulating The King ever since.  In 1989 he won first place in a Saskatchewan province-wide contest.  Jeff has been working hard with his tribute "The Essence Of Elvis" and in the summer of 2000 placed ninth in the World, out of 83 competitors in Collingwood Ontario's Elvis contest.  Jeff brings the Kings' music to life, close to your eyes and listen to the lilting voice of The Essence Of Elvis as he keeps the memories of The King alive.

Elvis and Jeff have several similarities in their lives.  They were extremely fond of Gospel music and their singing was based on the fact that God alone gave them these voices to share with people.  Both were very close to their mothers.  Their mothers dies far too early and supported their sons musical talents to the very end.  They both absolutely feel at home in front of people and love to bring joy to their audiences through their music.
